I had my first pregnancy check up yesterday and it went pretty well! I already saw my baby in my tummy! If I'm not mistaken the ultrasound which was used for me is called the transvaginal sonography or transvaginal ultrasound which is done with a probe placed in the woman's vagina. Transvaginal scans usually provide clearer pictures during early pregnancy. It's really a great feeling to see my 8 week old baby! Here's the result of my ultrasound:

After my check-up yesterday we went straight to my parents-in-law's house to celebrate my dad-in-law's birthday. Hi guys! Police found what was believed to be the body of the president of the Chicago Board of Education, Michael Scott, which was floating in the river. According to the sources, Scott had a gunshot wound to his left temple. Police also discovered a .380-caliber gun underneath his body, which was found 30 feet from his blue Cadillac. Charla Nash, 56, who was attacked and nearly killed in Stamford Connecticut on February 16 by a 200 pound chimpanzee named Travis, revealed her face Wednesday on 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' and shared heartbreaking details of her life since the attack.

Nash told Oprah that she is not in pain and she doesn't touch her face very often. She can't breathe through her nose and has to eat with a straw through a small hole where her mouth used to be. She lost both her hands, nose, an eyelid, and lips in the attack. Only recently did she learn that she'll no longer able to see because doctors removed her eyes due to an infection. Nash said she doesn't ask many questions about her injuries. Charla's family has filed a $50 million lawsuit against Herold, saying she was negligent and reckless for lacking the ability to control "a wild animal with violent propensities."

Hi guys! How have you been? I was thought to blog about this topic last weekend but my husband and I spent our Saturday at my mom and dad's (my in-laws) house and on Sunday we went for a picnic in the park so I was not online then.

Our plan of having a baby was really next year since my husband and I still wanted to spend our time as a husband and wife etc. but then there were some reasons why we planned ahead and just decided to made it in October. Here are some reasons:

1. Everytime my mom and I are talking online she always asks when will be our plan of having a baby. She said that I'm getting older and will be turning 30 years old next year. I always replied that we are planning for it next year.
2. I was surprised when my dad popped out from the screen for the first time(last week of September). Our computer in the Philippines is located upstairs and so my 62 year old dad who has rheumatism and diabetes(which affects his legs) did his best (L.O.L!) to take the 14- step stairs in the house. He mentioned why it seems that we were already having a family planning even if we don't still have a child. Whew! I was in total shock and speechless.
3. Due to consistent public demand from my relatives and friends who keep on sending emails asking if we already have a baby. I always tell them next year.
4. This email from my friend in Hawaii also give me the conviction of having a baby. (click the image)5. Lastly, before we decided to do this, we thought that it is really time for us to have a baby since both of us will be turning 30 years old next year and we are planning on having 2-3 children so this is the best time to start. We are computing how old we will be when our 3rd child will possibly be 18 years old. hehe.

Actually I really wanted to announce this after my first check up but then when my husband called on November 2 for a check up, I was scheduled to meet the doctor on November 25. Hmmmm...I can't wait to blog about this anymore.

But then before I made this post I used the remaining digital pregnancy test this weekend and the result says I'm 'pregnant'. These 2 pregnancy tests, feeling sleepy and my nausea almost the entire day these past few days gave me the conviction to write that I am pregnant and because I felt nauseous everyday and I can't stand looking at my laptop for more than an hour which makes me feel more nauseous and dizzy, I'll be on and off from blogging the next few weeks and months. I might not be able to bloghop like usual. Hopefully, I'll be back to my normal blogging activities soon. I thought before that pregnancy is just easy for me because I based it on the experience of my eldest sister but every woman's body is different. I am happy to be having a baby and I will do whatever it takes for him/her. As of now, I am taking some remedies for my nausea which were approved by the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology like carbonated water, ginger ale, ginger snaps and spearmint. These lessen my nausea but the effect of these is only an hour or so. =(Thank you for all the visits and comments guys ^_^. Time for me to have some rest now since I'm still feeling nauseous and feeling sleepy too. I will update you more after my check up with the doctor.

During night time my husband and I enjoyed strolling, buying some stuff at stores located at Branson Landing and having dinner at some restaurants located within the area. Right after we had our dinner in one of the restaurants at Branson Landing, the spectacular water fountain started it's show with lights, sound, music and fire. Unfortunately, we left our videocam inside the hotel and I only had my camera with me, but anyway I just searched for a video of the fountain shown in Branson on YouTube which is the same as presented there.
