Being pregnant is something new to me so from the time I knew I was pregnant, I read a lot and watch videos about pregnancy. Aside from searching online, I love to read the pregnancy book given to me by my sister-in-law entitled "What To Expect When You're Expecting" (4th edition) by Heidi Murkoff and Sharon Mazel. It is a very good pregnancy resource that answers all the questions of a mother-to-be like me, from the planning stage through postpartum. It features a week-by-week look at the growth of the baby and complete chapters on pregnancy lifestyles including 9 months of eating well, preconception, labor and delivery, carrying twins and a lot more. Aside from that, this book also guides fathers-to-be and will reassuringly answer their questions. This book is full of useful information and advice. It's like having a personal obstetrician to guide you. Any topic you can possibly think of about pregnancy can be found here. This book has it all! I love it!I am reading this book in my free time or whenever. I'm actually done reading the 1st to 14th Chapter of this book, the 14th Chapter being the "The Ninth Month". Hi guys! Do you love cooking like I do? Well, do you know that only after I got married did I learn how to cook? Now, I can say that I love cooking so much. From what you have observed on my posts here in my blog, there are lots of recipes that I shared with you and I want to learn more dishes and experiment with more meals that will truly satisfy the taste buds of my husband, in-laws and our friends. Actually, I have found that I have a talent in cooking, baking and preparing other foods. My mother-in-law is so impressed every time I prepare food for the family. Sometimes it made me think of enrolling in culinary classes to become a chef and I am dreaming of owning a restaurant someday. I have also read a lot of books about cooking, success stories of some chefs and more. I was so inspired by several chefs who truly became successful! I would love to buy more books online and as I was browsing I have found a book that really interests me. The title of the book is The Big Fat Duck Cookbook. From the description I read online, it is an enormous, beautiful book, where we can hear the full story of the meteoric rise of Heston Blumenthal and The Fat Duck, birthplace of snail porridge and bacon-and-egg ice cream and encounter the passion, perfection and weird science behind Blumenthal and his restaurant. For those of you who are not familiar with Heston Blumenthal, he is the chef and the owner of The Fat Duck. The Fat Duck is a three-Michelin starred restaurant which was voted Best Restaurant in the UK by the Good Food Guide 2007 and 2009. Not only that, it is also voted Best Restaurant in the World by fellow chefs in 2005. I want to learn from the book the history of the restaurant, from its humble beginnings until it became a third Michelin star. This is an inspiring book that I would love to read. Also I want to read his signature recipes that will inspire home cooks and chefs alike. Heston Blumenthal is truly inspiring. He is not only known as the world's most fascinating chef, but also know for his stunning, colorful and joyous work of art. I am dreaming of becoming a successful chef someday and Blumenthal and The Big Fat Duck Cook Book will inspire me more. Do you want to be inspired to?
